If you’re seeking the best bike shop in Colorado Springs look no further! I’ve compiled a list here for you. Each bike shop has it’s specialty so the best bike shop for road bikes may not be the best bike shop for you if you ride mountain bikes. I’ve made notes about each on as I see them.
Best Bike Shop in Colorado Springs – High End Bikes
Procycling has a great selection of high end bikes. If you like carbon fiber, lycra, and $4k+ bikes then this is the place for you. They carry Specialized, Moots, Santa Cruze, Yeti and Orbea. They’ve got a full service shop and a parts department. With two locations you can access the shop easy from the East or West sides of town.
Best Bike Shop In Colorado Springs – Used Bikes
The Pedal Station is one of my personal favorites. They have a great mission and a great selection of new and used bikes, parts and accessories! They do repairs too! Located in the Southwest part of Colorado Springs it’s easy access from Highway 24 or I 25. They do carry much much more than just bicycle stuff because they are a part of the Mountain Equipment Recyclers brand. You can stock up on almost anything outdoor related here. Check them out on Facebook!
Best Bike Shop Colorado Springs – Corporate
If you’re looking for a more corporate bike shop with inventory you’re familiar with then check out REI. Their store is located near Woodman and Insterstate 25 on the North end of Colorado Springs. They have a nice selection of full suspension, gravel bikes, kids bikes and touring bikes! They also have a nice selection of clothing and accessories.
Best Bike Shop – Overall
Criterium Bicycles has been around Colorado Springs since 1973! They have a vast selection of bikes, gear, accessories and parts. They are located just feet off of one of the primary bike paths in Colorado Springs and they have a great cafe you can visit too! With tons of local knowledge and a long history in Colorado Springs, you literally can’t go wrong with Criterium.
As we wrap up there are many good bike shops in Colorado Springs and I recommend you visit them all! The internet is making it really hard on these shops to stay in business but the local bike shop is pivotal to the success of cycling. The local knowledge of the rides and their repair experience can’t be replaced by the interwebs. Be sure to check out our honorable mentions as well. Old Towne, Ascent Cycling, Bicycle Village, and Teds (by far the best for BMX!).
